“Once one understands that a text message travels wirelessly as a stowaway within a control channel, one sees the carriers’ pricing plans in an entirely new light. The most profitable plan for the carriers will be the one that collects the most revenue from the customer: unlimited messaging, for which AT&T and Sprint charge $20 a month and T-Mobile, $15.”

5 GTD Tricks for Busy Parents →
To take this digital, I’d go with multiple calendars in GCal for each family member. Use a kitchen timer for the kids and your cellphone or smartphone timer for yourself. (Put it on vibrate if your house is the noisy kind, or you have sleeping kids around.) I use two bamboo boxes as “Inboxes” for me & the spouse-unit for the mailboxes, right where we leave our keys, wallets,...

theanniehour: If I like it, it’s mine. If it’s in my hand, it’s mine. If I can take it from you, it’s mine. If I had it a little while ago, it’s mine. If it’s mine, it must not ever appear to be yours in any way. If I’m doing or building something, all the pieces are mine. If I saw it first, it’s mine. If it looks like mine, it’s mine. Cleaned out two shelves from the fridge. Seriously alarmed by what was growing in there. Taking a break to collect my nerves while downing a Bloody Mary before rejoining the fray that is the Ancient Cheeses Drawer.

Since our dryer broke, we’ve hung a couple of loads outside to dry and it’s been pretty neat. I’m currently researching more about line-drying clothes, so expect more articles coming up on line-drying clothes. :-)

Had a great anniversary dinner with the spouse-unit at the Hungry Cat, a local seafood joint. The food was great, the conversation wonderful, and if I had a dollar for every time we said “I can’t believe it’s been six years already” in the last twenty-four hours, I’d be a rich lady. ;-) Here’s to the man of my dreams, and another six wonderful years, my love.

5 Reasons You Should Put Your Cat On A Foodball...
1. Mental stimulation Hey, guess what?! It turns out cats get just as bored as people do by the same old. :-) As the makers of Pez figured out ages ago, fetching your food in innovative ways makes mammals happy. 1. Exercise Same with exercise. All the reasons exercise is important for humans apply to cats, too. Not only will it keep them from getting fatter, but exercise makes them feel good,...
